The ultra precise part supporting environment, an energy component, electronic parts and medical equipment is essential to , the processing technique of the micro and nanoscale currently. In this seminar, we focused on a micro molding forming technology and the analytical skill and took up the latest topics.
We ask to have we are stirred up and participate.

Title: Development of Highly-functional Reverse Osmosis Membrane

Abstract:Membrane technologies for water treatment have been one of the most powerful
tools for solving the global water shortage problem.
The development of highly-functional reverse osmosis membrane based on fundamental
researches of polymer structure of the order of sub-nano to sub-micron will be reported
in the presentation.

Title: In-situ observations of functional materials with environmental TEM

Abstract:Environmental transmission electron microscopy (ETEM) will be introduced, which
enables to in-situ observe functional materials such as catalysts, battery electrodes etc.
during reactions for revealing their mechanisms. In addition, a new aberration-correction
technique for high-resolution imaging will be presented.

Title: The possibility of bio-resin parts manufacturing by injection molding.

Abstract:Dental implant (PEEK), bio-absorbable poly-lactic acid(PLA), vasodilation sent (PEEK), Biomedical porous (TA) and the like, various material has been developed and put to the practical use. The weight of biological parts that is
produced is an average, about 0.2grams.The material price is very expensive with 200-1000/g yen. A lot of waste
material is also discharged in order to mold the min. injection capacity (around 2.5grams). As a result, the existing
injection molding method is not even considered.
