15th Joint Meeting of NPO Research Association of Nano structured polymer(RANSP)

RANSP conducts every year, 1 night 2 days of training camp. This year also, the Seminar TPE institute, jointly with micro and nano molding institute will be held below;
This slogan is as far as "Research information sharing between 3 institutes. Tour of The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) (laser processing (CFRP), Printed electronics (wearable) and polymer Microfabrication, joint use facilities such as the (analytical).  Joint meeting have also each relevant with AISTconference including the Keynote 4, and free discussions.
Large numbers of people to participate in the research are expecting further development of the association.

(1)Title:
Current application trend of the CFRP to the field of car.
Mr.Sekido Toshihide
An expert on professor at Kanazawa Institute of Technology, innovation
Composite material Research and Development Center
Abstract:In the first part, I will introduce the physical property and functionality of carbon fiber and carbon fiber composite. Then, I will explain various applications of composite, future expansion of the application and the outlook.
In the second part, I will explain the current situation of the automotive parts application which is expected to make a great development of composites, then, the prospect and the issue for future growth.
BIO:
· In 1978 the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Industrial Mechanical Engineering master's program graduation
・April of the same year I joined Toray Industries, Inc., assigned to the Engineering Institute
・ 1997 president transferred to the "Development Promotion Project team of carbon fiber composite material" under the direct control
· 2006 Composite Development Center Director
・ 2009 Advanced Composite Center (ACC) Director
・ 2015 after the retirement of the Toray Industries, I was appointed to the Kanazawa Institute of Technology professor to the present.

(2)Title:
Fabrication of anti-reflection structure film with anti-fouling effect.

Abstract:We can fabricate anti-reflcetion structure film with anti-fouling effect by Ultraviolet nano-imprint lithography technique.The master mold of anti-reflection structre is fabricated by oxygen ion beam irradiation to glassy carbon substrate.This process can make nano-scale conical sructures on glassy carbon surface (moth-eye structure) and this surface acts as anti-reflection effect.After fabrication of master mold, we transfered moth-eye structures on film support by UV-NIL and UV curable resin with anti-fouling agent.This film has less than 0.5 % reflectivity and anti-fouling effect. The anti-fouling effect was confirmed by wipe out of permanent marker drawing.
BIO:Dr. Jun Taniguchi is a professor in the Deparment of Applied Electronics at Tokyo University of Science (Tokyo, Japan). He received the BE, ME and PhD degrees from Tokyo University of Science, in 1994, 1996 and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2016, he was with Department of Applied Electronics, Tokyo University of Science.  His research interests include electron beam lithography for nanoimprint mold, nanoimprint lithography, roll to roll nanoimprint lithography, and nanotechnology application such as optical devices, moth-eye structure.
