Ultra-precision parts are usually produced by micro-and nano-scale processing technology. In this lecture, we introduce the research trends and the current situation for precision molding processing technology of micro-and nano-scale. BIO: Hiroshi Ito had graduated from department of polymeric materials and engineering at Yamagata University. He received his master's degree of engineering at Yamagata University, 1990. After the graduation, he joined Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. In 1993, he became an assistant professor of Tsuruoka National College of Technology, and he took a doctor of engineering at Yamagata University in 1996. In this year, he became an assistant professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 2007, he became an associate professor of Yamagata University, and has organized Polymer Precision Processing laboratory. In 2010, he became a full professor of Yamagata University. He is now two chairs of department of organic device engineering (Ms cource) and department of organic material engineering (PhD cource) in Yamagata University. 14:30-15:30 Title: Current State and Its Trends of Nano-Imprinting Method and Machine                                    Mr. Mitsunori Kokubo Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. Abstract: I took charge of the development of the nanoimprint process and machine in the Nnanoimprint Process Division in 2005 through the Recserch & Development Laboratory and the High Precision Machine Division. The High Precision Machine Division and the Nnanoimprint Process Division were integrated in 2009, and the name changed into 'Nano Processing System Division' . BIO: 1994-1999:Kanagawa Academy of Science and Technology HIGUCHI「Ultimate Mechatronics」Project Researcher 2004:The Ph.D.(Engineering) was given by The University of Tokyo. The following are research and development contents to have done up to now. ・High Precision Optical Communication Device Automated Alignment & Assembling Machine ・Development of an Automatic Thin Sectioning Microtome System Applied to Slice Samples for Micro Structure Inspection ・High Precision Milling, Grinding, Drilling, Turning Machine ・High Precision Optical Glass Mold Press Machine ・Micro-Pattern Imprinting Machine 15:40-16:40 Title:Development of Cyclo Olefin polymer and Its Trends of Molding Technology                                  Mr.Shintaro Ikeda ZEON CORPORATION Abstract: In this study , we introduce the design and characteristic of Cyclo Olefin Polymer and its molding technology. BIO:Shintaro Ikeda had graduated from department of applied chemistry of engineering at Osaka City University. He received his docter's degree of engineering at Osaka City University, 2001.
